Up in the Air

George Clooney is Ryan Bingham, who is hired to fire people and spends most of his time flying on an aeroplane on his way to do that. He never wants to get married or have children and Natalie (Anna Kendrick, Jessica from Twilight), a young new employee of the company can't understand this.

Anna Kendrick is very believable in this, as is Vera Farmiga as Ryan's love interest. As is George Clooney actually.

I would recommend this. Although the story is not funny in itself, there are some funny moments.

Priscilla: Queen of the Desert (the show)

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!! sequins + mad costumes + ridiculously camp men + Australian accents = something I love. Just brilliant.

It was Ben Richards (the good-looking one from The Bill) ' second show and he must have been sooo nervous but he was sooo good! I was especially loved his voice which I wasn't expecting. Oliver Thornton was hilarious as Felicia (Felicia Jollygoodfellow hahaha) and his on-stage relationship with Don Gallagher as Bernadette was very entertaining as they were always at each other's throats!

Priscilla (the bus) cleverly served as the scenery for most of the show, and I particularly enjoyed it when the three main characters 'painted' it.

I waited by the stage door afterwards and I noticed after he'd gone that Oliver Thornton came out of the theatre without anyone noticing as he looks really different without all the makeup on!

The music is the best part though. Loads of disco classics that get your toes tapping. I was quite surprised (and worried) that I knew virtually all of them!

I definitely recommend this, it's a really fun night out and many other people (including critics) have agreed that it's fantastic.
